Restaurant Captain - Restaurants and Bars Team

Main Responsibility:

  • Have full knowledge of the menu, wine and beverage offerings including specials and promotional material.
  • Understand what’s going on in other departments and implications for your own department
  • Clear understanding of guest expectations
  • To deliver outstanding customer service, actively seeking verbal feedback from customers on a regular basis;
  • Making sure all customer requests and queries are responded to promptly and effectively;
  • Having detailed knowledge of department Standards and operating procedures.
  • Implementing and following through improvements identified.
  • Always suggestive selling of menu items, beverages and wines.
  • Ensuring that safe and healthy working practices are implemented at all times
  • Agreeing departmental objectives for self and team
  • Develop a positive, direct and open relationship with all colleagues
